Nina Fry-Kizler, MA

Board Chair

Nina is a professor in the Holistic Health Education Masters Program at JFK University. She teaches classes in the psychology and physiology of stress, the challenge of making health changes, energy models of healing, wellness coaching and mind body approaches to self-care. Nina was trained in the Mind Body Medicine Professional Training program from the Center for Mind Body Medicine and as a birth Doula through Doulas of North America. She teaches health educators and clients to use mind body medicine techniques to improve their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.

Nina believes that the use of mind-body medicine and the activation of the relaxation response are revolutionary in that they allow the body’s innate healing capacities to take over. Using these tools can be game-changing for people who are struggling with health conditions and are eager to discover powerful techniques which can be used for self-care to empower their healing process.
