• Most of our employees take public transportation, walk, or bicycle to work and we encourage visitors to do the same.
• Our publications are printed on recycled, chlorine-free paper using non-toxic inks from local green printers such as Inkworks.
• We use non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products and soaps.
• Our office is painted in eco-friendly earth tones using low-VOC paint.

Recycling & Resource Conservation

• We currently recycle over 70% of the solid waste generated in our office including cardboard and mixed paper, plastic/glass bottles, packing supplies, ink cartridges, electronics and batteries.
• We purchase 100% post-consumer recycled paper and other recycled-content office supplies from local green businesses such as TheGreenOffice.com and Radstons.
• We use energy efficient electronics, ceiling fans, low-flow water aerators, compact fluorescent light bulbs and natural light whenever possible.

Healthy People

• We provide a soothing office atmosphere with diverse plants, soft lighting, pleasant music, assortment of teas, and colorful art from around-the-world.
• Our staff enjoys monthly group lunches and social outings, which improves trust, work relations and communication.

Keeping an Eye on our Actions

Each month we track and evaluate our resource consumption and waste generation, which serves as a powerful tool to help us further decrease consumption and cost. We continuously strive to reduce our environmental impact as new information and innovations become available.
